“Language of Art” is the Georgian based non-profit organization which was founded by young Georgian artists on September 7, 2010 (Identification Code: 204577261).
It gathers different type of young artists in Georgia and facilitates dialogue and cooperation between them.
The main goals of the organization are:
- To popularize Georgian culture both internally as well as on international level;
- To facilitate development of different fields of art;
- To teach future generations theoretical and practical sides of art and deliver master classes, trainings, workshops, study tours and other activities pertaining to the field of art education;
- To protect interests and rights of young artists, female artists and other minority groups;
- To popularize young Georgian artists and spread a word about their art in society;
- To deepen international contacts and make ties between Georgian and foreign artists;
- To advance democracy, protect human rights and gender equality in Georgia;
- To conduct awareness building and support civic education;
On April 17, 2010 Language of Art became an Associated Member of the National Council of Youth Organizations of Georgia, which is the biggest umbrella organization in Georgia and a full member of European Youth Forum.
